In Summer 2018, Haffhus Hotel and Ferienanlage, an eco-resort on Stettin Bay will have a renewable and storage system with a battery capacity of nearly 500 kWh. The system will be base its supply on several renewable resources, integrate a 150 kWp solar plant, 25 kW biomass plant and a 2 x 5.5 kW thermal biogas plant.

As a climate-neutral hotel with the highest rating from Green Sign's certificates, Haffhus has a vision of sustainability for its company. Fossil free transportation is promoted: all company cars are electric, and visitors can charge their vehicles on site. Local activities include electric boat tours and e-bicycles to explore local nature sightings.
